徳山動物園が2011年度から10年かけてリニューアル計画。
その基本計画案が1月20日から2月19日まで
徳山動物園や市のホームページで公開されています。
動物園を5つのゾーンに分けて、行動展示も取り入れるとか。
・アジアの熱帯雨林
・アフリカのサバンナ
・極寒
・ふれあい
・周南の里
の5つらしいですが、しろくまは「極寒」ゾーンですね。
「ふれあい」ゾーンだったらどんなに素敵なことか。
アザラシの隣に天敵のホッキョクグマを展示、というのは確か
上野動物園のリニューアルもそんな計画でしたね。
