近頃話題になっていた「ワッフルの匂いに誘われて窓に現れたシロクマ」という写真、
しろくま好きの人なら見かけたりしたのではないでしょうか。

元になったのはRedditのこの投稿みたいです。

これが話題になり、DailyMailなどが取り上げ、日本にも伝わってきたわけですね。
投稿者は「北極の研究船で働く叔父さんが今日撮った写真だよ〜」と言っているようですが、
この写真が撮影されたのは17年前。
Norwegian Polar Instituteによると、場所は実際に北極の研究船Lanceの上であるものの、
写真に写っている男性は今は引退しており、研究者でもないそうです。
17年前にはルールが違ったかもしれないけど、
現在では野生のホッキョクグマに餌を与えたりはしないんだからね！とおっしゃってますね。

誰が撮ったかわからない写真をさも自分の身内が撮ったように作り話をして触れ回る人の心理ってわからないな。
3時のコーヒーでワッフルを作っていたとか言っちゃってさー。
嘘の片棒を担がないように慎重にまとめないとなー。

    Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a
    sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
    She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic
