和歌山県のリンクアドベンチャーワールドのオホトとアークティクの間に生まれた子グマが
10月13日で1歳の誕生日を迎えました！
その誕生会が11日の月曜・体育の日に開かれました。

記事についてのコメント人工哺育で育った子グマ。
オホトとアークティクの間に生まれた子グマたちはどの子も長生きできず、
最長で101日までしか生きられなかったそうですから、
1歳の誕生日は特別なものになったでしょう。
10月10日の時点で体重なんと78kg…。
子グマと言えどあなどれません。成人男性の平均より重たいです。
ごはんはドッグフードと馬肉など。1日に4kgも食べるというからその体重にも納得です。
これからもたくさん食べて、おお〜きくなれよ〜。

数字の「1」をかたどったニンジン入りの氷と、しろくまの形をした雪だるまがプレゼントされました。
雪だるまかわいいなー。

ところで、子グマの名前は公募してつけることが多いのですが
この子グマには既にひっそりと名前がついています。
「ミライ」というそうです。素敵な名前です。
しかしアドベンチャーワールドでは名前の公開をしていないようです。
どういった理由からかはわかりませんが、
もともとしろくまには名前なんてありませんからね。
名前を付けて呼ぶと愛玩動物のようになってしまうから？
でも飼い犬のように紐をつけて散歩をさせていましたし、違う理由があるんでしょうね。
公表していないとなるとなんだか名前を呼びづらい。
でもそのうち子グマじゃなくなると、「アドベンチャーワールドの子グマ」と呼べないのでさらに呼びづらくなる。
ので今日からミライちゃんと呼ばせて頂きます。
ミライちゃん、かなりの別嬪さん。これはモテます。でへへ。
